BIOGRAPHY OF MARCO ZAMUDIO.

Marco Zamudio was born in Mexico on May 18, 1973. He graduated in Visual Arts from the National School of Plastic Arts, San Carlos, in 1995.

Known for his passion for rescuing realist painting, Marco Zamudio won first place in the 2006 Sacred Painting Competition: The Gospel According to Saint Luke, organized by the Manuel Toussaint Institute, Ecumenical Center for the Conservation and Promotion of Artistic Heritage.
He collaborated on the setting and museography of the exhibition "Visions of the United States: Urban Realism" at MOMA (Museum of Contemporary Art, New York);
"Self-Portrait in Mexico in the 1990s" at the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City.
He also participated in the design of the catalogs for the aforementioned exhibitions.
In 1995, he collaborated on the mural "The Eagle and Flights" for the A.R. Serfín Bank Collection.
In October 2010, he created and inaugurated the mural "The Passenger" for the Insurgentes station of the Mexico City Metro.
In March 2013, he created and inaugurated the second mural, "The Platform of Ouroboros," for the Tlatelolco station of the Mexico City Metro.
From 2011 to 2013, he provided therapeutic support through painting and drawing to groups of psychiatric patients. He studied at the University of London in collaboration with Dr. Luis Manterola. Mexico City.
Since 2012, he has taught various subjects in the Diploma Programs at the Royal Academy of San Carlos in Mexico City, collaborating with Norma Silva.
On March 18, 2015, Marco Zamudio presented his first book of artwork.
In 2016, he taught two workshops for the training and updating of teachers at INBA schools: Contemporary Techniques in Painting at the CEDART Luis Spota and Basic Techniques in Drawing and Painting at the institution's Introductory School Number Four.
In 2018, he was invited to give a lecture at the Third Muralism Forum at the National Center for the Arts, Mexico City.
From 2017 to 2019, he served as director of the LA SILVESTRE ATELIER art gallery, dedicated to championing the art of realism.

From 2018 to 2020, he was part of the dark art group at the Macabre Gallery in London, United Kingdom.
In February 2021, EL MIGRANTE (The Migrant), a mural honoring migrants, was installed. The work measures 750 x 125 cm and is part of one of Mexico City's most popular neighborhoods.
In May 2025, EL SER FRACTAL (The Fractal Being), cultural projects with the Latin American Institute of Postgraduate Studies, State of Mexico, was presented at the Hotel Kristal in Cd. Satélite.
