Biography — Boris Shoshensky
Boris Shoshensky was born on September 5, 1945, in Ukraine. His artistic career is deeply influenced by European academic tradition and the sensibility of twentieth-century modernism. Initially trained in Eastern Europe, he developed a strong technical foundation before moving to the United States in 1979, where he continued evolving toward a highly recognizable artistic language of his own.
His work combines abstraction, structure, and emotion through dynamic compositions and a sophisticated exploration of color. Influenced by movements such as Russian Constructivism, modern expressionism, and contemporary European painting, Shoshensky creates visually powerful works that exist between architecture, movement, and chromatic depth.
